AI Search Visibility · Built in South Africa

Right now an AI is recommending your competitor. You will never see it happen.

No impression. No click. No line in Google Analytics. A customer asked ChatGPT who to use, got three names back, and yours wasn't one of them. Get Aivisibl reads your site the way the six major AI engines read it, scores it out of 100, and generates the actual files that fix it.

The moment you don't get to watch

This conversation happened without you in it.

Search used to hand over ten links and let the customer decide. AI hands over one answer and decides for them. Here is what that looks like when your site isn't readable to the engines.

Assistant · live answerIllustrative example

"We need commercial solar installed at our warehouse in Joburg. Who should we call?"

Based on what I can find, three installers stand out for commercial rooftop work in Johannesburg:

  1. Helio Power GroupPublishes full commercial case studies and load specs.
  2. Sunward Energy SolutionsClear service-area and certification data on their site.
  3. Kestrel RenewablesStructured pricing and warranty pages, easy to cite.

Any of these three would be a reasonable place to start

Your business isn't in this answer. Not because you're worse. Because your robots.txt blocks GPTBot, you have no organisation schema, and your service pages read as marketing copy an engine can't quote.

We send real prompts to all six engines and record every result with a timestamp. That record is your Citation Ledger — proof of where you started, and evidence of every point you gain.

How it works

Crawl it like an engine. Score it. Then hand you the files.

Most tools stop at the diagnosis. A report telling you your schema is missing doesn't put schema on your site. We write it.

Step 01 — Scan

We read your site as GPTBot does

Same user agents, same parsing order, same limits. We see exactly what the engines see — including the pages they were quietly blocked from.

  • Crawler access and robots directives
  • Structured data and entity signals
  • Answer-shaped content and quotability
  • Rendering, speed, technical compliance
Step 02 — Score

One number, four honest categories

A 0–100 visibility score, broken into the four things that decide whether an engine can find you, understand you, trust you, and quote you.

Discoverability34
Content quality52
Citation presence8
Technical compliance61
Step 03 — Fix

Download the fix, not the homework

Every issue we find comes back as a finished file or a block of copy. Paste it, upload it, publish it. No agency, no dev ticket, no theory.

  • robots.txt that admits all six AI crawlers
  • llms.txt written from your real content
  • JSON-LD Organization schema
  • FAQ content shaped to be quoted
  • Homepage copy guidance, line by line
Why it matters

There is no page two of an answer.

SEO was a queue. You could sit at position seven and still get the click, because the customer saw ten options and made up their own mind.

An AI answer isn't a queue. It's a recommendation, delivered with confidence, usually naming three businesses. There is no scroll. There is no "see more". If you aren't named, you weren't considered — and the customer never learns you existed.

The uncomfortable part: this is not a ranking problem you can outspend. It's a readability problem. Most sites are invisible to AI engines for reasons that take an afternoon to fix — if someone tells you exactly what they are.

6Engines, checked liveChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok and Qwen — real prompts, real answers, not a simulation.
3Names in a typical answerThe shortlist is shorter than page one ever was. Fourth place is the same as nowhere.
+15Points is the SLA targetYour Visibility SLA measures today's score against your 30-day baseline and reports back: baseline, on-track, met, or at-risk.

Diagnosis is cheap. Fixes are the product.

Three ways to approach AI visibility. Only one of them ends with files on your server this afternoon.

Questions

The things people ask before they scan.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

No. SEO optimises for a ranked list of links. AI engines don't produce a list — they produce one answer that names a handful of businesses. Different mechanic, different signals. Crawler permissions, structured data, and content an engine can quote verbatim matter far more here than backlinks or keyword density. You can rank well on Google and still be entirely absent from AI answers.

Do I need a developer to apply the fixes?

Usually not. robots.txt and llms.txt are files you upload to the root of your site. JSON-LD is a block you paste into your page head — most CMS platforms have a field for exactly this. FAQ content and homepage copy go in through your normal editor. Where something genuinely needs a developer, we say so and give them the exact change to make.

How do you know whether an AI mentions my business?

We ask. Real prompts, phrased the way a customer would phrase them, sent to all six engines, and we record the answers. If you're mentioned we capture how and in what position. If you aren't, we capture who was instead. Every run is written to your Citation Ledger with a timestamp, so you have a defensible record rather than a vibe.

What is the Visibility SLA, exactly?

When you start, we freeze your score as a 30-day baseline. From then on every scan compares against it and reports one of four states: baseline, on-track, met, or at-risk. The target is +15 points. It's there so you can tell whether you're paying for progress or for a subscription.

Why South Africa first?

Because that’s the market we understand and the one being served last. Global tools bill in dollars, ignore local search behaviour, and treat South African businesses as an afterthought at checkout. We do PayFast in rand on day one. International billing through Stripe comes next — in that order, deliberately.

What happens on the free plan?

One site, one scan a month, and the complete score breakdown across Discoverability, Content Quality, Citation Presence, and Technical Compliance — including every issue we found and why it matters. You keep that whether or not you ever upgrade. What Free doesn’t include is the generated fix files and live citation tracking.
